Welcome 2021 and Reflecting Back On 2020  For all of us, 2020 will be an unforgettable year. This year, COVID happened. The virus originated in Wuhan and, (somehow) made its way to the whole world. We all wore masks to survive. I, for one, stayed home for at least six months. Today is the 3rd of January, 2021 and I am very happy because of the new year. This is because, as it is rightly quoted, " The New Year stands before us, like a chapter waiting to be written." and also because it brings new hope to the world. People are hoping that COVID will finally end in 2021 so that it will be a better year. With all the good news surrounding 2021, including the new vaccines, it really brings joy and hope to the world. In self isolation, all we could do was stay at our homes and hope that COVID ends. We felt like we had no purpose. But then when people started working from home, they felt that they were doing something, not just sitting at home and hoping for the best. They made a di

Big Bazaar offers doorstep delivery amidst coronavirus lockdown

  • Big Bazaar has offered doorstep delivery in major cities like Delhi,Gurugram(or Gurgaon), Mumbai, Bengaluru.

After online shopping giants Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket and Grofers have suspended or curtailed delivering amidst the 21-day lockdown.Supermarket Big Bazaar has entered doorstep delivery.

However,after the announcement,the online marketplace was flooded with calls, forcing the company to announce that there could be a delay in the delivery of these items due to a large number of orders.

According to the official government notification on the 21-day lockdown period,"Ration shops(under PDS) dealing with food,grocery,fruits and vegetables,dairy and milk can remain open.

Future Retail, that currently attracts over 35 crore people,across its networks like Foodhall And Big Bazaar is present in more than 400 cities with more than 1500 stores.

This is a relief for people who cannot move out of their homes due to age, health or other reasons.

There are various courses out there but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will have to learn online.
